Mario & Jamie got married on August 27th in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I designed the wedding invitations and the table seating poster that was displayed at the ceremony.  Their wedding colors were grey and purple. The invitations were 7-piece pocket-folds that were sealed with a custom photo sleeve.  CONGRATULATIONS MARIO & JAMIE!!!

CHICAGO MED WEEK

Marketing Materials Designed for Chicago MED Week 2011

Chicago MED Week is an event held each Summer to honor and support

minority business. It consists of business forums and seminars during the day and a

formal awards gala in the evening. This is the 3rd year I have been asked to design the marketing materials for the event. I attended the awards gala and it was very exciting to

see all of my hard work on display!

I designed the logo for a steakhouse & raw bar that recently opened in Olney, MD. They launched their website that features my logo design as well as a photo of the signage they had done. Looks delicious! Check it out at www.grillmarxsteakhouse.com.

Genesis Construction Services, LLC Logo Design

I was asked to design a new logo for Genesis Construction Services, a small construction company in Grand Junction, Colorado. They wanted the logo to reflect a mesa - a mountain form that is a staple of western Colorado geography. I chose to break it up in pieces to symbolize building and growth.

I designed these custom thank you cards for Mat & Shannon. They picked 3 designs and will use them for multiple wedding events - engagement party, bridal shower and the wedding itself. I am also happy to announce this is the first wedding design job I booked for 2012!

Katilin and Andy are "gettin' hitched" in October on a farm in Leesburg, Virginia. They wanted their Save the Dates to be "unique, creative and rustic." We decided imposing their faces on the famous
American Gothic painting would do the trick.

I am proud to announce my little brother Zay graduated from Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado! He spent 4 years playing football, fishing, hunting, hiking and of course, learning. I designed this custom photo announcement to send to our family and friends. Congratulations Zay!

I designed this business card for Jessie Spalding, a Realtor in the Phoenix, Arizona area. The design was intended to honor the traditional Real Estate guidelines while still being modern and unique.

Scott-ish Ale Label Design

My boyfriend, his dad and his brother - all proud members of the Scott family - just completed their first home brewed beer! It is a Scottish Red Ale and features a Lopez custom designed label.

The graphic features a Mexican style skeleton partaking in the Scottish acts of bagpipe playing and kilt wearing. He is in the foreground of a photo of East Rosebud Lake in Montana - a place very dear to the Scott family. Oh and I forgot to mention, the beer is DELICIOUS!

I worked with X10 Solutions, Inc. to rebrand their business with "a dynamic logo that conveys the global nature of the company."

CHICAGO MED WEEK

Electronic Save the Date

For the last 2 years I have designed the marketing materials for Chicago MED Week with direction from X10 Solutions, Inc. The event honors Minority Business Development with day time workshops and a black tie awards gala. I have attended the gala in the past and was not only impressed with the event but inspired by the success of the minority business owners attending. It is great to be asked to design the 2011 graphics and I am looking forward to the event in August!

I bought this skull back when halloween decorations were in the stores. I painted it to represent the Mexican tradition of Dia de los Muertos. This is much more interesting then boring old white.

ONEderland Party Decorations

I designed the invitations and party decorations for a December "Winter ONEderland" first

birthday party. The theme was so adorable it made me wish all babies were born in the winter. Thank you SNOW much??? It doesn't get much cuter then that.
