Mayela Lopez: Reston, Virginia, United States; I am a contemporary artist who specializes in Graphic Design, painting, and custom invitations and announcements. I am originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico. I now live in Reston, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, D.C. I graduated with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from James Madison University. My artwork is inspired by the culture and colors of the Southwest but has been greatly influenced by the urban setting of the Nation’s Capital.
